Common materials and fibers used in glove manufacturing
Gloves are classified by manufacturing methods into sewn, knitted, and dipped types. Gloves are made by cutting and sewing various leathers, rubbers, knitted fabrics, or woven fabrics. Knitted gloves use various pure or blended yarns of textile fibers, knitted on glove machines, and processed by sewing, such as attaching linings, hemming, sewing fingertips and finger gussets, and then finishing with raising or shrinking and heat setting to produce the final product.
